Bicycle + Garden Plants = Going Green

bike and plants life go green

Global warming seems to be extending its evil claw to our daily life. Today I even heard the terrible news from newspaper that one polar bear is swimming to death since it can’t find a complete land after several hours trying. Sounds horrible.

Going green seems to be the only solution to the problem of Global warming. To go green we ” the Humans” need to change our habits. Using bicycle to commute instead of polluting through energy consuming vehicles along with growing as many plants as possible can make a great difference to save this planet!

Don’t just blame, do something. Using bicycles can also has the bonus effect of loosing weight and good to health. Growing plants also can make our living enviroment better and nicer. So why not?

Let the Green Grass Filling My Mind

green grass in campus

I bet there must be very green grass in your city, public ones or private ones. Each of those grass area are unique and offers a great place for leisure.

In the city I live, the green grass spot I remembered the most would be in front of the famous North Building in  the Nanjing Univercity. The grass breed are pricy and carefully trimmed, any irresponsible tread is totally banned. So laying down on those grass is impossible, but you got to take few shots to capture them in your memory.

Whenever there is a sunny day, you would see pretty girls walking around along the grass, reading, chatting. The students of Nanjing university is so lucky to enjoy such a beautiful campus with old old trees everywhere to tell us how the history has passed around the campus quietly.

Anyway, I like the feeling of walking or lying in the green green grass. My eyes and mind would be filled with green impressions.

Troubles gone. Smile Returns.

Grow Flowers or Vegetables in Garden

Tags: , ,

Giving you a choice question: if you got a self-owned space on your backyard, would it use it as a garden area or a vegetables soil. For me, I chose that latter, the reason for that as below:

1, I’m not at all good at growing flowers or any plants, knowledge and time is both required, I got either. I’d better not waste my money on those expensive flower seed.

2, The food safety problem is often becomes a focus in China, someday, we heard it’s not safe to eat blalala, other day, it’s said to not eat blalala……..Nothing safer than the vegetable you grown yourself, right?

3, It’s very convinient if you are too busy to got the food market, you can simple make a dish ready by picking some vegetable on your backyard, simple yet healthy.

4, It’s handy if you are just runing out of some food accessory, such as, pepper, garlic sprouts.. You got plenty of them waiting.

I just list a few, but I’m not saying that growing flowers is stupid, it’s just different views and lifestlyes, so no right or wrong, provided you don’t intervene other residents’ life.

Taking Shot in Your Own Garden

Tags: , , ,

I bet many people like to make a few amazing shots in your own garden in leisure times. Garden offers a terrific background with vivid colors, fresh green and  added with your nice feeling.

I’m not quite professional with shooting and not equipped with those heavy camara gadgets at all, I just use ordinary Cannon Ixus camara. I found it enough for family use if you are not asking for exquisite effects and image.

The microshot function in the camara is commonly used in the garden area. The flowers, the little animal like bees, the leaves….  any little magic piece could be captured with the microshot shooting methods with focus on the primate one but visualizing those background items.

It’s a very happy gathering with your family in the garden to take some pictures with nice smiles. So taking shot in your own garden is also a very intersting recreation to do, to touch with nature’s beauty and magic moments. Every season, garden provides you with different video show, spring with flowers, summer with cool feeling, autum with leaves and winter with tough branches.

You gotta to discover and enjoy…..
